If a friend of yours is about to get married and you've been tasked with planning the bachelor party, you have some work ahead of you! Hosting the party at a casino is a great choice if the groom-to-be loves to gamble. However, there are a few tips you'll need to follow to ensure this type of bachelor party goes off without a hitch.

1. Include some non-gambling activities.

Chances are, there are some friends of the groom who are not interested in gambling or would prefer not to gamble. They will want to feel included in the party in some ways. So, even though the majority of the party might take place in the casino, you should be sure to plan a few non-gambling activities. You could all see a show at a local theater in the afternoon, go to breakfast at a buffet, or go wine tasting at a nearby winery.

2. Set limits.

Gambling is a lot of fun when you win. Hopefully, everyone in your party has great luck -- but realistically, some people will probably lose. It's a good idea to ensure they don't lose too big by setting a per-person limit. Depending on the level of wealth your friends hold, this limit could be $500, or it could be $10,000. Shake on the amount before the gambling begins, and keep each other honest throughout the night. If someone reaches the limit, they stop gambling -- before they lose any more and come to regret it.

3. Stick together.

It's easy to lose track of time in a busy casino! One of you might wander off and play craps, while the others play poker. Before you know it, the night is over, and you've barely interacted! That's not very party-like. Keep things social by staying together as a group. You can get joy out of watching each other play, even if the game being played is not your personal favorite.

4. Stay at the casino hotel.

The simplest way to keep all of the guests together and engaged is to stay at the hotel associated with the casino. This way, you won't have to worry about anyone driving after drinking, getting lost on the way back to the hotel, and so forth. You can bounce back and forth between the rooms and the casino as the night goes on.

With the tips above, your casino party will be a hit -- with the groom and with the guests!
